Founded by Matt Citardi — a former bench chemist with 30 years in LIMS and enterprise SaaS delivery —Cogsult brings practitioner-level depth to complex informatics challenges that generalist consultants simply can't match.

Matt's career began at the lab bench at American Cyanamid, working with HPLC, R&D robotics, and FDA audit preparation before transitioning into LIMS implementation and enterprise software delivery. That foundation matters: understanding how a laboratory actually operates — its workflows, its compliance pressures, its data integrity requirements — is what separates a good implementation from one that gets adopted and sustained.

Over the next three decades, he led enterprise LIMS engagements across pharma, food & beverage, chemicals, contract laboratories, and manufacturing — working directly with laboratory directors, IT leaders, and C-suite sponsors. At QSI, he sustained a 95%+ gross revenue retention rate across a 24-year tenure while driving consistent account expansion. At Confience, he led the Project Managers and Solution Architect teams, restructured at-risk engagements, and served as the bridge between Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Services during a demanding post-acquisition integration.

He has executed full LIMS lifecycles — from RFP strategy and vendor selection through requirements, configuration, validation, training, and post-go-live support — for clients operating under 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, ISO 17025, and FSMA. He knows where implementations go wrong, why they stall, and how to get them back on track.
